Bio:Coach Gina has been with the J-Hawks, since 1992. She started as an instructor, in our swim lesson program and moved up to Swim Lesson Director. During the 2005-06 season, Gina was promoted to the Age Group Coaching position, which she has excelled in. Gina brings a lot of creativeness to our club and many families come to us, just by knowing Gina. For the past 4 years, she has also been the Head Coach of the Whitewater Girls High School team.
*Coaching accomplishments: This season was Gina's first coaching the J-Hawk's competitive group. She successfully coached state and zone qualifiers, and was inspirational to new state qualifiers and younger athletes reaching for higher levels.. During her high school season, Gina's swimmer finished 2nd, at the WIAA state meet.
*Swimming Career: Gina was a recreational swimmer, for the Whitewater Alligators (summer team, before J-Hawks was formed). She grew up around the water, as either a lifeguard or swim instructor.
*Personal: Gina has been married to Jim, for 15 years. She has 2 daughters, Anna and Sara, ages 15 and 11. |
